About the role
You will be marketing and driving the growth of YouGov's business, selling our exciting and innovative products and solutions. You will be working closely with other senior members of the business development team, in order to generate new business for the Thailand region. You will also collaborate with YouGov's Research Team to address various clients research needs. What will I be delivering? As a core member of The Business Development Team, you will be working towards reaching an Individual sales target, you will do this by Actively identifying new potential customers to sell our products, services and solutions Proactively prospecting , identifying, qualifying and exploring new potential business opportunities through variety of business channels such as cold calling, networking events, marketing events, Linkedin, etc. Working closely with other members of the business development team in order to share ideas, update each other, find the best strategy to understand prospects' needs, arrange meetings and prepare research proposals in line with clients' requirements Working collaboratively with Research team to align client's brief and expectations, project details, deliverables, cost, etc. Ability to close the deal effectively Actively updating the team and the customer database system ( e.g., Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, etc.) on the sales activities that occurs with prospects, clients, etc. Contributing compelling ideas on content generation for marketing purposes What's in it for me? Requirements
- What do I need to bring with me?
- Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience
- Sales experience at least 5 years, preferably in data analytic business, marketing research, business intelligence, etc.
- Excellent understanding of business issues related to consumer brands or behaviour across Thailand, APAC region or beyond
- Comfortable with numbers - our world revolves around data!
- Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, marketing or related disciplines preferable
- Microsoft office skill, i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
- Behavioural competencies
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, aspiring and results-oriented
- You must be a good team player, working across team with teamwork mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English and Thai (preferred) required to excel in this client-facing role
- Ability to persuade, negotiate and work with a high level of autonomy
- Working hours
- 9:30 am - 6:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Office Based
