Sales Associate - Health Insurance

Responsibilities

• Generate and convert sales leads for Health insurance products.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits, and policy terms across multiple insurers.
• Identify potential customers through cold calling, referrals, or digital leads through calls provided by the organisation.
• Engage with customers to understand their insurance requirements and recommend the best-fit products.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Provide regular feedback on lead quality, conversion ratios, and customer sentiment to improve overall sales efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and conversion data in CRM tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes.
• Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Customer-first mindset with an ability to build rapport quickly.
• Analytical thinking to generate insights from lead and sales data.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Hindi.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
• Qualification & Experience:
• Graduation (any stream) - MBA or relevant certification in insurance/sales is a plus.
• 6 months - 2 years of experience in insurance sales (preferably Health).
• IRDA certification preferred.
