What Work You Will be Responsible For: Support day-to-day resource scheduling, work allocation, and staffing coordination for assigned Tax teams, service lines, or offices. Maintain staffing schedules in the resource management system and ensure assignments are updated accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor staffing conflicts, capacity gaps, and availability trends, and escalate complex issues or high-risk situations to Resource Management leadership. Work closely with engagement teams, business leaders, and the wider Resource Management team to support staffing requirements based on availability, skill set, business needs, and deadlines. Develop a strong understanding of tax tasks, seasonal deadlines, and engagement requirements to support informed staffing and scheduling decisions. Use scheduling and reporting tools regularly to track assignments, resolve conflicts, and maintain visibility over staffing activity. Support onboarding of new hires by helping build initial schedules, coordinating staffing set-up, and ensuring smooth integration into the resource planning process. Support offboarding transitions by helping identify open work, coordinating reassignments, and ensuring timely communication to relevant stakeholders. Monitor time entry, billable hours, leave schedules, and availability information for assigned professionals, and follow up where required. Prepare and maintain staffing reports, trackers, dashboards, and summaries to support decision-making by Resource Management leadership. Ensure data accuracy across staffing tools, reports, and trackers, and proactively highlight inconsistencies or risks. Support implementation of standard staffing processes and contribute ideas for improving efficiency, consistency, and overall coordination. Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the Tax business and provide responsive support on resource-related matters. Independently manage assigned responsibilities while collaborating effectively with the broader Resource Management team and escalating matters appropriately where managerial intervention is needed. Basic qualifications for the opportunity Master's/ Bachelor's degree in HR/Business Administration or equivalent through regular academic programs. Overall work experience of 36+ months, with 0-2 years of experience in Resource Management / Resource Planning / Scheduling, supporting Tax, accounting, consulting, or other professional services business is preferred. Prior experience supporting a deadline-driven business environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Familiarity with tax engagement cycles, filing deadlines, or seasonal business demand patterns will be an advantage. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and comfortable working with staffing tools and reporting trackers. Well organised, extremely accurate, with strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively. Capable of working under pressure to meet stringent deadlines. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently within a defined scope, while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
