About the role

You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the SAFETY DIVISION, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT ofCOMMANDER, NAVAL REGION JAPAN . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing safety and occupational program requirements, evaluating safety and occupational health programs for employees engaged in diverse operations that include high hazard, high-risk industrial, construction and maritime occupations having significant potential for injury and death and which expose employees to hazardous physical agents, chemicals, and processes. Selective Placement Factor: Do you possess at a minimum, the certification as a AAA Driver Improvement Instructor AND certification as a rider coach by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) to teach Basic and Experienced Rider, and the Military Sport Bike Course?
