Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, coordinates, and manages designated procurement activities for construction materials and equipment on large, international projects. Assists the procurement staff in the day-to-day operation of the project.
- Full knowledge and capability of operating all duties outlined within the procurement manager's scope of work.
- Prepares and issues bid documents to prospective vendors seeking pricing information. Evaluates pricing information for best value and specified product.
- Writes and issues contract documents for purchase of material needed for projects.
- Tracks projects through completion to include all changes in design. Issues change orders as needed to prospective vendors.
- Verifies adherence to project budget by maintaining cost control of all materials and equipment.

- Performs quantity surveys and estimates based on project plans and specifications under the supervision of the Procurement Coordinator / Procurement Manager.
- Working Conditions - Some travel required. Some light lifting may be required (50 lbs), walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading. Work performed in a controlled indoor environment. Work while traveling in noncontrolled environments may be required. Full time.

- Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and some construction experience required. Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Certifications, Licenses, etc . - Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.
