Make a difference Senior Project Manager Engineering As a Senior Project Manager Engineering, you will guide projects from ideas to reality, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs. You take ownership of the full project lifecycle from shaping business cases and defining scope, goals, deliverables, budgets, timelines, and quality standards, to coordinating teams and resources. During execution, you monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure smooth delivery, while motivating your team and coaching other project managers. You also maintain strong stakeholder relationships, facilitate clear communication, and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Your key responsibilities include: Preparing and analyzing business requirements to support project objectives; Defining project scope, planning resources, and dividing tasks; Managing project delivery and change management with internal and external stakeholders; Monitoring progress, risks, issues, and quality, and reporting transparently; Closing projects, capturing lessons learned, and ensuring smooth handover; Leading, coaching, and motivating project teams; Building strong stakeholder relationships and maintaining clear communication; Sharing knowledge, collaborating and improving project management practices. What you bring as a future colleague You have strong communication skills, a professional and entrepreneurial attitude, and know how to motivate others. You take ownership, can work under pressure, and are results oriented. In addition, you bring: A bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Up to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the food and/or process industry; Experience in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects; Familiarity with Stage Gate project management, LEAN, and Continuous Improvement; Knowledge of validation principles (VMP, DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ, SAT, PQ); An IPMA or PMI certification (is a plus); Excellent command of Dutch and English, German is an advantage; Willingness to be present at least 4 days per week at our seed processing site and to travel occasionally (inter)nationally.
