Role Description Your North Star: You will help build, optimize, and scale best-in-class operations for Pomelo's doula business line by delivering data-driven analysis, insights, and operational initiatives that drive impact for our members.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on key operational metrics and performance trends for Pomelo's doula business.
- Leverage data insights to identify and prioritize areas for operational efficiency, and implement critical process improvements.
- Own end-to-end operations for new plan launches, including clinical team capacity planning and SOP development
- Own key operational projects that improve how we deliver care for our members, including using analytical rigor to assess project success. Proactively communicate project timelines and roadblocks with cross-functional partners to ensure deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Cycle Management, Accounting, Strategic Finance, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure success of our doula business line.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a strategic analytical role, preferably in consulting, finance, or at a high-growth start-up.
- 3+ years of experience independently performing complex data analysis using Excel or similar, as well as creating data visualizations (e.g. Metabase, Looker).
- Demonstrated ability to build flexible models with a high degree of forecasting accuracy to inform business strategy
- Comfortable leveraging a wide range of tools, including AI, to drive efficiency and insights
- A proactive and resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently seeks out answers and solutions
- High degree of accountability and follow through; you own the outcome of your work and possess strong prioritization and time management skills
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
