Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process for new hires (pre-boarding to post-joining experience)
- Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding

- Coordinate with employees, managers, payroll, and external partners for leave processing
- Maintain accurate leave records and documentation
- Provide guidance on policies such as:
- Maternity Benefit Act
- Sick leave / earned leave policies
- Support return-to-work planning and employee communication
- HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate compensation during leave periods
- Manage HR queries through ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution
- Support audits and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Assist in developing HR policies, SOPs, and employee communications
- Represent the India site by providing HR systems and process expertise during the implementation of our global HCM.
- Training & Stakeholder Support
- Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on leave policies, onboarding processes, and HR practices
- Partner with HR Business Partners on employee relations and accommodations
- Create documentation and presentations related to HR programs
- Required Qualifications:
Requirements
- 6 + years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Operations professional
- Experience managing end-to-end onboarding processes
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail with the ability to define, optimize, implement, and enhance effective processes.
- Ability to have difficult conversations with employees and managers
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Exposure to creating presentations and trainings on policies and procedures
- Must be highly organized and motivated; detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines with limited oversight
- Problem solver who has experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to context switch quickly to meet changing priorities
- Hands-on experience with ADP, Workday, or Rippling HR systems
- Experience with Monday.com for managing workflows is a plus
- Experience managing multi-state workforce policies in India
- Exposure to HR automation tools and/or workflow platforms
