This position will be filled using the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in Department of Defense (DoD). About the Position: This is a Lead Police Officer (Desk Sergeant) position in the Installation Services Directorate at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service which includes: 1) Conducting law enforcement patrols to identify violations of federal, state, or military regulations; 2) Preparing incident reports to document criminal activities or complaints accurately; 3) Responding to emergency calls to provide immediate support order-escalation; AND 4) Guiding junior officers in patrol procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
