RAC is seeking an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join our Roadside Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, support and develop a team of frontline Dispatchers while driving team performance, service delivery and continuous improvement across Roadside Operations. The successful candidate will bring proven leadership experience, strong coaching and people management skills, and the ability to foster a positive, high-performing team culture. You will play a key role in supporting operational outcomes while ensuring our members continue to receive exceptional service when they need us most. What will you be doing? This diverse role reports to the Dispatch Manager and is responsible for delivering member service through efficient utilisation of Roadside resources and managing the Member relationship throughout their breakdown experience. This role operates on a rotating roster of 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm shifts, with a 2-on, 1-off weekend roster. Penalty rates apply in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience in leadership and exposure to the Dispatch area along with experience in the creation and implementation of change programs. Your ability to develop, influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders will be pivotal to your success.
