Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in LPA's integrated, multidisciplinary design process alongside engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers in the delivery of building design projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, analyses, and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Assist with the selection and specification of equipment, systems, and products appropriate to each project.
  • Review, process, and respond to construction administration documents, including RFIs and submittals.

Requirements

  • Required:
  • 0-5 years of experience in the design of plumbing and/or fire protection systems.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for a collaborative, multidisciplinary design process.
  • Curious, open-minded, and eager to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
