Responsibilities

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of transmission operations, maintenance practices and HVDC systems.
- Experience with Protection & Control systems and transmission plant standards.
- Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Ability to manage complex technical challenges and deliver practical solutions.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing contracts and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SAP and asset management systems.
- Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Senior Authorised Person status at transmission voltages (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum Criteria
- Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant post-qualification experience within a power, utilities or transmission environment.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining high-voltage transmission assets.
- Demonstrable experience working with HVDC systems and technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset management systems such as SAP.
