Head Housekeeper Housekeeping - Clarence Park Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £DOE Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5 Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day. Head Housekeeper Contract £DOE per hour 37.5 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact safety, comfort and daily experience. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service, mindful of working within an occupied care environment. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.
