About the role

The position Production processes at IRnova include test measurements and characterization of the products - large imaging arrays and integrated modules. Characterization processes employ a great deal of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, such as technical physics, automation and electronic equipment, applied and system programming and mechanical design. Your mission will be owning the acceptance test procedure (ATP) which will include; - Coordinating the measurements on daily and hourly basis dependent on the current needs and availabilities including all logistics - Establishing and enforcing quality procedures for the ATP processes and equipment, incuding necessary documentation, tests and calibrations - Providing support to the production team for the ATP measurements including the methodology, hardware, software, logistics - Performing the ATP measurements when necessary - Owning and performing certain process steps - Participating, together with other Optronics and Development engineers, in the development of the characterization methods and infrastructure The position implies a substantial amount of practical work in the lab. You will work in close contact with engineers from the Optronics team, the production team, R&D team. Competence ProfileRequired - Master degree in technical physics, electrical/electronics engineering, automation, or similar - Practical skills in measurement techniques, hands-on experience strongly desired - High level in both technical and communication English (written and spoken) Valued - Practical skills in applied and low-level instrument programming (e.g. Matlab, Java, C/C++, Python) - Knowledge about mixed signal electronics, for camera systems in particular - Knowledge about mechanical design - Swedish and major European languages Personal characteristics - Highly organized and proactive - Enjoy working together in a team to jointly achieve the best result - Independent and goal oriented - Good problem solver with analytical skills - Positive towards learning new things and developing the competence in different areas - Ability to work with many different cultures Your future employer IRnova is part of a handful of companies in the world capable of producing cooled infrared detectors.
