About the role
The Assistant Vice President for Ambulatory Clinical Excellence and Quality, ("AVP"), a key member of the Quality leadership team has shared accountability for the success of the organization, is charged developing and advancing a comprehensive, system-wide strategy for ambulatory quality, patient safety, clinical excellence, and performance improvement across all ambulatory settings, including primary care, specialty care, urgent care, and other outpatient services. The AVP has wide authority and relies on experience and judgement to accomplish goals. Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in quality/patient safety or related initiatives
- 10+ years of pediatric clinical experience
- Education
- Medical Doctor (MD) or DO from an accredited institution is required.
- Licensure and Certification
- Active Texas Medical License
