Responsibilities

  • The Senior Executive, Workshop (Special Vehicles) to oversee workshop operations, optimize performance, and support specialized vehicle projects, including government contracts.

  • Oversee end‑to‑end Special Vehicles workflow, including job planning, on‑site support, and progress tracking.
  • Maintain close coordination with stakeholders (e.g. MINDEF / ST Engineering) to ensure timely updates and service delivery.
  • Materials, Inventory & Logistics
  • Manage materials planning, procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations for special vehicle parts and tools.
  • Ensure proper parts issuance, warranty processes, and documentation control for all materials movement.
  • Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery timelines while ensuring materials meet required specifications.
  • Issue Certificates of Conformance (COC) and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Commercial & Administrative
  • Oversee quotation, invoicing, and delivery processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Support parts sales and administrative functions within the Special Vehicles division.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Regularly review systems and processes to enhance materials planning, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required by management.
  • What Are We Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering, Automotive, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing workshop operations, preferably in automotive or specialised vehicles environment.
  • Good leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Familiarity with WSH regulations and safety practices.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external agencies.
