Responsibilities
- Must follow GMP's and safety guidelines and wear PPE and adhere to all safety rules
- Determining machine adjustments based on product specifications and material requirements

- Replacing and replenishing containers of product to be filled and packaging supplies such as: film, laminate, and mount rolls on spindles
- Responsible for completing documentation required for product quality assurance
- Responsible for performing change overs and minor machine maintenance and adjustments as required, and effectively communicating with maintenance personnel when maintenance requirements are more considerable
- Provide assistance to mechanics during preventative maintenance and machine service or repairs following proper Lockout/Tag out procedures
- High School Diploma
- Experience operating in a fast paced, ready to eat food facility a plus
- Ability to be self-guided and motivated to operate independently
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
- Sensory: Ability to hear, see, speak, smell and touch well is necessary to perform basic essential task.

The Operator I will operate machines such as filling equipment, cappers, labelers, sealers, and other related equipment to meet customer order driven production schedule. To perform duties in operating, repairing, overhauling mechanical equipment. Supervise the operation of machines and equipment. This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Stratas Foods procedures and policies.
