To qualify at the GS-11, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-10 level in federal service having demonstrated experience performing three or more of the following duties: 1. Performing material testing i.e. concrete, soils, and aggregates. 2. Preparing material testing reports and communicating results with engineers, contractors, and suppliers. 3. Working with material typically used in construction including soils, aggregates, and concrete. 4. Performing inspections/quality control of materials being used in construction. 5. Reviewing proposed engineering projects to provide oversight and ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications.
