Our Guest Service Agents are a key position and the first point of call for our guests when they arrive. You will be checking guests in and out, handling enquiries from in house guests and helping to maintain our hotel as the busiest in town, chat with our guests to ensure a sense of welcome and belonging. You will be a guru of local knowledge to help every guest get the most out of their stay, all whilst listening out for all opportunities to wow our guests when they least expect it. In this role, you daily mission will include: Warmly welcome guests and provide ongoing support to the Reception team Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, approachable manner that reflects our brand values. Assist guest with check in / out, information during their stays Respond promptly to guest concerns, taking ownership and following up with relevant departments to ensure satisfaction Switchboard communications with the rest of the hotel operational teams (Food & Beverage, Maintenance, etc.) Process / take bookings during reservations after hours Attend to guest with a professional telephone manner Ability to think on your feet and anticipate guests needs Multitask with great time management Solve problems on the spot Work in a face paced environment Bring your passion for hospitality and leadership-apply today and help us make every guest feel right at home! Here's what sets you apart as our next Guest Service Agent: You will ideally have previous experience as a Guest Service Agent / Hotel receptionist, however not essential We are looking for a special someone with a passion for people and providing impressive service to join our front office team on a full time basis. Computer literate. Exceptional communication skills both written, verbal and non-verbal. You will be an organized individual with a high attention to detail Previous experience in a Reservations environment is an advantage Prior use of Opera Cloud & TARS Database or similar PMS is preferred.
