About the role

This position will be assigned to The Golf Course and is not guaranteed a set number of hours but can be scheduled 0-40 hours per week. This is a flexible position with a not-to-exceed date; however, it may later be converted to a permanent flexible position. As a federal employee you will have access to all FSS facilities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to use, control, and clean common hand tools, and simple power equipment. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.
