About the Role We are seeking 2 GPs to join our award-winning and dedicated team of academic educators committed to inspiring the next generation of the primary care workforce. Supervised and supported by CBME senior team, you will be expected to: Contribute to the innovative design, review, and delivery of CBME clinical placements, including materials and assessments and tutor training in line with our new, inclusive MBBS curriculum. Take a key role in GP placement quality assurance. Contribute to the wider MBBS & PA programmes through teaching, assessment, and citizenship. Show promise as a scholar through evaluation, research presentations, higher qualifications, and publications. These posts are located on the Whitechapel Campus in London. One post is a part-time 0.5 FTE fixed-term appointment for 12 months, and the other is a part-time 0.4 FTE fixed-term appointment for 6 months, with both positions offering a starting salary on the consultant clinical academic scale (pro rata) depending on experience, including London allowance. About You You must hold a medical degree, MRCGP, be GMC registered and have recent GP experience. We would support candidates with a clear commitment to a career in medical education. About the School/Department/Institute/Project One of six Institutes forming the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, the Institute for Health Sciences Education (IHSE) is responsible for the delivery of the faculty's medical degree programmes.
