Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods).
  • Evidence of scholarly writing and publication potential.
  • Experience with GIS preferred.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary research environments will be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Fellow to contribute to analysis, synthesis, and recommendations for the CS-HTS project. The fellow will be under the overall supervision of the Principal Investigator and work closely other team members and project collaborators. About ENgAGE: The Centre for Environment and Ageing Well (ENgAGE) is committed to advancing knowledge and practices to enhance environments that foster the physical, psychological, and social well-being of individuals across all age groups. The centre aims to coordinate and consolidate aging-related research, education, and resources within the NUS community, orchestrate capacity-building initiatives, and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders with a shared interest in meaningful enhancements to living environments for all. Research Themes: The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to the intellectual development of ENgAGE's research agenda across three interconnected themes: Ageing in Place in Asia, Design for Brain Health, and Climate Change and Ageing. Position Overview: The Centre for Environment and Ageing Well (ENgAGE) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to support the Centre's research development and scholarly activities. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work closely with the Centre Director to assist in the conceptualisation of research initiatives, development of grant proposals, and production of scholarly outputs including journal articles, policy reports, and research papers. The position also provides opportunities for the Fellow to develop independent research directions aligned with ENgAGE's thematic priorities, contributing to the Centre's long-term intellectual trajectory. The Centre particularly welcomes applicants who are interested in developing novel research directions at the intersection of environment, ageing, and societal transformation in Asia.
