This is a full-time role based in our Culver City & Vernon, Los Angeles head offices, requiring an in-office presence of four days per week, with one day remote. We are seeking a Buying Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Buying team at Reformation across Retail and Wholesale. This is a highly collaborative role where the buying coordinator partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, innovative, tech savvy and have excellent communication skills. Because the environment is fast-paced, the role requires flexibility and an ability to juggle multiple tasks. Last but certainly not least, this person should be passionate about fashion and sustainability! For a high-performer, there is a clear pathway for future growth into Category Management and broader strategic buying responsibilities as you master our systems and assortments.
Responsibilities
- Generate correct and timely purchase orders, and track and maintain them throughout the entire process across Retail and Wholesale
- Manage calendar deadlines and ensure cross functional teams have what they need
- Assist the team with updating documentation and ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Work closely with the buying team on assortment planning and management for the Apparel business
- Communicate cross functionally with relevant teams to ensure cohesiveness - production, merchandising, planning, wholesale sales
- Help to analyse sales on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis
- Identify process, workflow and system improvements and bring recommendations to manager
- Assist the team with day to day needs
- Take initiative beyond basic responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of experience in apparel at a retailer/e-commerce company (preferred)
- Strong Analytical and Math skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to adapt to complexities of an expanding organization
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
