About the role

This vacancy is for a GS-0080-12, Port Security Specialist (Recovery) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CG FORCES MICRONESIA/SEC GUAM CONTINGENCY PLNG/FORCE RDNS in SANTA RITA, Guam. . To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis: Coordinating with federal agencies, interagency partners, state, local and Tribal governments, marine and salvage industries and other stakeholders. Advising agency elements developing other contingency plans and contingency coordination that have recovery aspects contained therein. Coordinating and synchronizing the dissemination of information within the Department to include the District/Area/HQ. Assisting in the development of After Action Reports in the Contingency Planning System to capture lessons learned and best practices.
