About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Directives and Publications Division of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing policies and implementing procedures, standards and guidelines to improve the effectiveness of all functional areas of Records and Information Management (RIM). 2) Conducting studies of an organization's documented records, files, publications, directives and developing metrics and measurements criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of A RIM program. 3) Developing strategies to better disseminate directives detailing personnel policies and procedures to the fleet by leveraging advances in information management technologies to achieve the mission. 4) Providing technical and administrative supervision to civil service personnel by planning schedules and assigning/directing overall work of subordinates and establishing and adjusting priorities and deadlines to meet requirements.
