We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior or Principal Roads, Rail, Civil, or Infrastructure Engineer with industry experience to join our expanding team. Sustainable & Active Travel: Delivery teams for the TII Luas Programme, the NTA BusConnects Programme, and a vast programme of Greenways (>300km) for TII and Local Authorities, including major schemes in West Cork and Donegal. Multidisciplinary Exposure: Gain hands-on experience across the entire project lifecycle, from early feasibility and statutory consent through to detailed design, construction support, and contract administration. Your Role & Responsibilities You will be ready to take the next step in your career, delivering and coordinating design packages on complex infrastructure programmes. Manage and lead on a diverse range of major Infrastructure projects. Ensure all project deliverables meet AECOM quality standards and are managed effectively to time and budget. Work seamlessly across multiple teams, in a lead role, interrogating outputs from other disciplines (e.g., drainage, structures, environmental). Work directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges. Support and coach junior engineers, contributing to AECOM's culture of growth and continuous learning. Lead, manage, and mentor large project teams in the delivery of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and quality outcomes. Oversee the preparation of project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions in accordance with Irish and European standards. Act as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication. Drive the development of planning applications, tender documentation, and construction supervision activities. Conduct and review site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments to inform design and construction processes. Ensure robust compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout all project phases. Support resource planning, programme management, and risk mitigation strategies. Participate in and lead multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert technical guidance and input. Champion innovation, sustainability, and digital delivery across all projects.
