As a Production Test Engineer (m/f/d), you are a central part of our Production Engineering team. You plan, implement, and support test automation for electronic assemblies in our series production. Together with our first-class team, you play a crucial role in continuing to push the boundaries of drone technology. In close collaboration with stakeholders from Research and Development, you continuously work to improve production quality and increase throughput. Through your work, you support Quantum Systems in its mission to make unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs) the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions. What is your Day to Day Mission: Build and maintain a test automation and/or test execution framework. Develop and maintain library functions and interfaces for test automation. Develop automated tests for electronic assemblies to ensure quality in the production process. Develop automated tests for test benches. Work closely with Research and Development to define processes and support design-for-testability. What you bring to the team: You have a degree - Bachelor's, Master's, or Diplom - in a relevant field such as Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or Information Technology. You have professional experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, NI TestStand, openHTS, or similar. Knowledge of Python is required; knowledge of LabVIEW is an advantage. You enjoy optimizing production processes and finding new, innovative ways to solve problems. You are highly self-motivated and independently drive your area of responsibility forward. Confident use of Git and modern collaborative development processes. Enthusiasm for technology - whether drones, 3D printing, robotics, or simply tinkering. Thanks to your open, communicative, friendly, and competent manner, it is easy for your colleagues to see you as an internal expert. Communication in German and English comes easily to you.
