ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Univision San Antonio is looking for a Temporary Multimedia Technician to join our team! Univision San Antonio is looking for a creative Multimedia Designer temp who will be tasked with the development and production of promotional content for news, sports and commercials for TV, radio, digital and local events. This is a hands-on position, and it requires ability to edit and create multimedia (video/graphics/audio), manipulate creative artwork, write scripts, and do camera work in studio and on field. Perform VizRT operations during live broadcasts, Work with news producers to create and review graphic rundowns for live broadcasts among other technical requirements on the control room. Applicants must have a good understanding of broadcast design and multimedia technologies. Candidates need to be able to take a project from start to finish under minimal supervision and have knowledge of content production for linear, digital, and social/emerging platforms. Most importantly, the perfect candidate should have good attitude, be proactive and work well in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. YOUR DAY-DAY: - The Multimedia Technician is responsible for providing the technical production and promotional support for live broadcasts, news and commercials productions including TV, radio, digital and local events. - Detail oriented with ability to work with tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work well under extreme deadlines and multi-task in order to excel in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment YOU HAVE: - Basic knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition) - Professional camcorders and DSLRs (Canon, Panasonic, and Sony) - Field production lighting, audio recording, green screen, and studio production environment - iNews, VizRT, vCreative, Smartsheet and news gathering tools is a plus - Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) - Proficient in written and oral Spanish and English - Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays Eligibility Requirements - Must be willing to work from office in San Antonio, TX. - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Physical Requirements (Optional) - Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach, and sit for up to (8) hours - Ability to Lift 50lbs TelevisaUnivision is an equal opportunity employer.
