Monitor production runs, inspect finished products, and identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities that may affect product quality or machine performance. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production counts, downtime, and any quality or machine-related issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks on slitting machines to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. Maintain machine cleanliness and housekeeping in the area by moving scrap material to baler and sweeping and removing dust and debris. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift operator's license. (Training Provided)
Requirements
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Prior skilled machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic tools and inspection devices such as utility knives, calipers and tape measure.
