Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Directly supervise Maintenance personnel and provide day‑to‑day leadership for the Maintenance department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

- Project and Cost Management:

- Recommend changes to working conditions, workflows, and equipment utilization to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, company standards, and all applicable safety programs and procedures.
- Enforce compliance with applicable bargaining unit agreements within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the Maintenance team.
- Cross-Functional Support:
- Participate in lean, digital manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in administrative and technical programs, including training initiatives and communication efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Core Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma/GED is standard, with vocational training, technical certificates, or an associate/bachelor's degree in facility management or industrial technology highly valued.
- Experience: Requires 5+ years of general Maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building automation systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and risk management.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team, schedule staff, train employees, and manage vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Administrative & Computer Skills: Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office, plus experience with budgeting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in varied environmental conditions.
- Common Industry-Specific Experience
- Industrial/Manufacturing: Focus on production machinery, robotics, and heavy equipment maintenance.
