About the role

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and high availability solutions Cloud Operations & Optimisation Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security Optimise cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and resource management Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues Perform capacity planning and performance tuning Security & Compliance Implement AWS security best practices using IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, and AWS Config Configure and manage AWS security services (GuardDuty, CloudTrail, AWS WAF) Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management Automation & DevOps Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or Jenkins Support containerisation initiatives using ECS, EKS, or Fargate Collaborate with development teams to enable DevOps practices Documentation & Collaboration Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams Work with cross-functional teams including network, security, and application teams Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing Participate in on-call rotation for production support Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline At least two years of IT experience in AWS Knowledge of cloud networking, routing, and VPC management Familiarity with system backup and disaster recovery practices Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure operations We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
