Steam Plant Cleanliness and Noise Reduction programs experience is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to review and evaluate contractor engineering and design products for compliance with contract specifications is required, including assessing requests for departures and engineering changes. Candidates must be capable of conducting ship checks to investigate equipment malfunctions, validate design intent, and support major ship events such as inspections and sea trials. The position requires the ability to coordinate and interface effectively with contractor supervisors, design engineers, vendors, and other Naval activities to resolve technical issues and ensure the technical adequacy, reliability, and maintainability of naval propulsion and auxiliary systems.
