About the role
The Office of Performance and Communications provides direction and oversight in all matters related to strategic planning, performance management, evaluation, partnership program administration, customer service, communication & liaison activities, and the certificate programs. This position is inside the bargainng unit. To qualify for Management and Program Analyst, you must meet all the specialized experience described below. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience for GS-14 includes: Working on technical reviews of data that demonstrate knowledge of Wage and Hour Division procedures, stakeholders, business processes and work methods. Managing projects that are of major importance and defining solutions requiring unconventional approaches to issues identified in audits. Analyzing legislative and higher headquarters guidance to determine the impact on the organizations audit requirements and developing required policies, procedures and guidance in response.
