AI Infrastructure DC Design Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Create and update simple AutoCAD drawings and layouts for cabinets, rack elevations, structured cabling, and basic infrastructure components.
• Support data hall design documentation, asset tracking, and drawing revisions.
• Assist with capacity planning and basic infrastructure assessments.
• Follow established design standards, templates, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to gather project requirements and updates.
• Participate in quality reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.
• Learn data center design principles, cabling standards, and operational best practices.
• Scope & Complexity
• Works on low-complexity projects with clearly defined requirements.
• Requires close supervision and technical guidance.
• Limited decision-making authority.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of data center infrastructure concepts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
