Additional Information

Job Duties Under broad direction, leads the selection and development of composites, elastomers, plastics, lubricants, and other non-metallic material systems across multiple complex projects, applying advanced materials engineering principles. Drives end-to-end materials development, including formulation, processing, qualification, and field deployment. Serves as a subject matter expert in non-metallic materials and processes for molded, formed, and formulated products. Leads investigation and deployment of alternative materials and processes to improve performance, reliability, and cost. Integrates data-driven and AI-enabled approaches into materials design, optimization, and scale-up workflows. Provides technical leadership on strategic material sourcing and supplier engagement. Advises on resolution of complex field and manufacturing issues, with direct impact on product performance and service quality. Embeds reliability, HSE, quality, and project management rigour across all activities. Contributes directly to value creation through technology differentiation and performance improvement.
