Job Title: Social Worker - Hospital Location : St Richard's Hospital, Chichester Rate : £35 per hour (up to £38 for highly qualified candidates with at least 2 years of experience). Additional £150 per week expenses for candidates living outside West Sussex. Liquid Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our client's Hospital Social Work Team at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will deliver a statutory social work service with compassion and empathy. You will work in partnership with colleagues to maintain high standards of social work practice. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals to regain their skills and independence following hospital admission, conducting assessments, and arranging care and support for individuals both in the hospital and post-discharge. You will participate in multi-disciplinary teams covering A&E and the emergency floor, and attend the hospital at least twice a week for face-to-face assessments and family meetings.
