Day Operations Coordinator - Permit to Work (PTW)

Requirements

• - High School Diploma or GED required
• - Technical certification in Process Technology, LNG Operations, or Safety preferred
• - 3+ years of experience in LNG, oil & gas, or industrial operations
• - Experience with PTW systems, isolations, and field execution required
• - Experience in truck loading, terminal operations, or cryogenic systems preferred
• - Strong understanding of PTW, LOTO, and safe work practices
• - Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and SOPs
• - Solid operational awareness (valves, piping, process systems)
• - Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple teams
• - High attention to detail-this role will catch mistakes others miss
• - Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE The Day Operations Coordinator - PTW is responsible for executing and coordinating the site's Permit-to-Work (PTW) system while supporting LNG operations, including truck loading and unloading activities. This role ensures all permits, isolations, and safety requirements are properly implemented and maintained in alignment with operational and regulatory standards.The position serves as a key link between field operations and control processes, supporting safe and efficient execution of work in a startup environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively between field activities and coordination responsibilities. The position will be based in Brownsville, TX. Job Site Work Environment - Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions. - Operates in a complex construction environment. - Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions. - Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions. - Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits. - Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction. - Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.
