About the role
As a Support Worker, you will work directly with people in their homes and in the community. You will be expected to support people with a variety of needs, enabling them to live the lives they want. To be a Support Worker at Certitude, it is essential you: - Support people who may challenge (verbally, physically), particularly people on the autistic spectrum - Keep calm and confident in challenging situations - Experience in Positive Behaviour Support - Experience of enabling people with a learning disability/autism to take positive risks in their lives - Possess a manual driving licence and be able to drive a 7-seater van - Knowledge of the Transforming Care Agenda You will be given training, development and coaching to help you feel confident in providing great support and to help you advance in your career.
