Sales Engineer (power electronics, AC/DC)

About the role

Our client is a provider of power electronics and test & measurement solutions, serving industries such as electronics manufacturing, R&D, automation, renewable energy, and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell AC/DC power supplies, AC sources, and related power solutions.
• Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and support sales closure.
• Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and system integrators.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, or Application Engineering.
• Knowledge of power electronics, AC/DC power systems, or test & measurement equipment.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to travel for customer visits when required.
