Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-off, cost estimates, quotations, tender documents and Bills of Quantities for M&E works.
- Handle progress claims, variation orders, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
- Review and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare cost reports, claim documents and other QS-related documentation.
- Attend project meetings and site meetings when required.
- Ensure all contractual and cost-related documents are properly maintained and updated.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Strong M&E QS experience will be an advantage.
- Able to handle tender, progress claim, variation order and final account independently.
- Familiar with Singapore construction or M&E project practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to read M&E drawings. Knowledge of AutoCAD or QS measurement software will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in main contractor, M&E contractor or specialist contractor environments will have an added advantage.
