About the role
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Field Sales professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Field Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director - Retail Multiples and will be primarily responsible for developing and executing the field sales strategy in the Retail channel. This is a new role as we increase our field sales team across our Retail business and will involve implementing execution standards in the trade, managing the agency team, and driving our sales performance. This role focuses on ensuring strong in-store execution, optimizing trade marketing activities, and leading a high-performing external salesforce to maximize revenue and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategy in collaboration with the Retail Multiples team as part of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Partner with agencies to implement the Kraft Heinz FSF methodology to ensure maximum value and high-quality execution.
- Coach and train the Field Sales team on selling tactics, relationship management, and product knowledge and conduct regular performance evaluations on the salesforce
- Use data-driven insights to optimize field salesforce operations, track sales metrics and lead Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs)
- Implement promotional and trade marketing initiatives (ie. Shippers, Shelf POS)
- Present and introduce new SKUs to increase KHC product presence and activate local seasonal events to drive brand engagement and sales revenue
- Partner with the Global Sales Execution team and look for ways to optimise and continuously improve our field sales fundamentals
Requirements
- Experience in field sales, key account management or trade marketing
- Leadership of teams/agencies and familiarity with sales tracking, reporting tools, and FSF execution methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems (IE. Salesforce)
- Ability to set direction and stretching performance objectives for team and territories
- Commercial skills - ability to convey a strong value proposition, balance pricing strategies, and persuade/influence customers.
- Leadership & People Management - capable of engaging, coaching, and leading field sales teams.
- Execution Excellence - strong focus on ensuring standards, monitoring in-store execution, and driving results.
- Data-Driven Decision Making - ability to analyze market data, FSF performance, and make strategic recommendations.
- Customer-Centric Approach - ability to strengthen relationships with operator partners and identify growth opportunities.
