About the role
We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our ANZ Finance team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A & M&A - ANZ, you'll play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting and commercial analysis across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their FP&A career who is looking to broaden their experience, work closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making within a growing finance function.
Responsibilities
- As our FP&A Analyst, you'll:
- Support the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and forecasting tools.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key business drivers to support commercial decisions.
- Assist with pricing, profitability and cost improvement initiatives.
- Ensure financial data integrity and support governance and reporting standards.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights.
- About You
- You'll be a motivated finance professional with strong analytical capability, a genuine interest in commercial finance, and a can-do attitude . You're someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of your work, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- You'll bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or public practice.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- It would be advantageous if you also have:
- CA or CPA qualification (or are currently working towards it).
- Experience working within a multinational organisation.
- Exposure to BI, reporting or financial planning tools.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- An interest in leveraging AI and technology to improve business processes.
