About the role

Job Description Oversee the firm's compliance function and ensure compliance with MAS, SGX, and other regulatory requirements. Develop, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Manage regulatory reporting, submissions, audits, and communications with MAS, SGX, and other regulators. Monitor regulatory changes and provide compliance advice and training to employees and management. Support new business initiatives, licensing applications, and regulatory engagements. Perform compliance reviews, client onboarding (KYC/AML), and escalate suspicious activities where required. Review corporate finance and legal documents, including agreements and SGX transaction submissions. Partner with business units to provide compliance guidance, manage risks, and improve internal processes. Coordinate Board and corporate secretarial matters, including meetings, resolutions, and governance documentation. Support ad hoc compliance, governance, and business projects as assigned. Job Requirements Degree or Diploma in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, or compliance. Experience with MAS regulations, SGX Listing Rules, and Capital Markets Services (CMS) licensing requirements is highly preferred. Prior exposure to corporate finance transactions such as IPOs, RTOs, M&A, or Catalist sponsorship work is an advantage. Experience in compliance, audit, legal, risk, or corporate finance with regulatory responsibilities. Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements, regulatory reporting, and corporate governance practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
