Responsibilities
- Support Procurement Shared Services' Downstream Operations, specifically the day-to-day operations of the Procurement Service Center
- Collaborate with Downstream Operations peers and the PSS BPO provider to ensure efficient operations, strong service delivery, and alignment with business objectives
- Implement short-term and long-term workflow strategies established by management with high ethical standards, in compliance with the law and AbbVie policies and procedures
- Work to have a robust understanding of AbbVie's Procurement Operations overall
- Support strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPI) and overall team performance
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, the Corporate Disbursement Office, and Category Management to troubleshoot challenges and implement solutions
- Develop and draft training documents to ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Support the development and implementation of future-state processes - tracking progress, completion, and readiness
- Have the ability to quickly comprehend the objective and requirements of new incoming work
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities by analyzing recurring issues, user/supplier inquiries, and transaction trends, and recommending enhancements to tools, documentation, or workflows to improve efficiency and customer experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field; or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead communication strategies to all team members, stakeholders, management, and suppliers
- Innovative problem-solving skills combined with a solution-oriented mindset with clear communication at all organizational levels
- Ability to effectively navigate diverse team dynamics and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong soft skills and emotional intelligence, facilitating empathetic interactions, effective communication and relationship-building
- Experience with drafting SOPs, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contact Center, Call Center, or Customer Service experience preferred
