Responsibilities
- Support the Fire & Aviation team with day-to-day recruitment and administration activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Act as the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries and candidate queries.
- Advertise vacancies across careers platforms, social media and external job boards, ensuring adverts remain up to date.
- Review applications and shortlist candidates using a fair and unbiased process.
- Arrange and conduct interviews via telephone or Microsoft Teams.
- Manage candidate progression throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, including issuing offers and supporting pre-employment checks.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System and internal recruitment trackers.
- Support the completion and monitoring of pre-employment screening and Right to Work checks in line with BS7858 standards and company requirements.
- Liaise with candidates, managers and HR teams to ensure screening and onboarding documentation is completed efficiently and within required deadlines.
- Carry out social media and financial background checks where applicable.
- Support the processing of airside pass applications and maintain communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for Contingency Crew, including advertising, interviewing, onboarding and training administration.
- Coordinate Initial and CPD training courses, including joining instructions, training records, expenses and database updates.
- Assist with reporting, data gathering and general administrative support for the Fire Division.
- Maintain a professional and up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation, company policies and recruitment best practice.
- Undertake any additional reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
