As a Solicitor in Health Legal, you'll work on complex and high-impact issues - from legislative development to commercial and public law matters - advising on decisions that influence the health and wellbeing of communities across Aotearoa. This is a unique opportunity to combine legal practice with policy influence, working alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Provide high-quality legal advice and interpretation , identifying risks, issues, and opportunities across a range of legislative and regulatory matters. Support policy development and legislative processes , contributing legal insights and helping translate policy into effective legislation. Deliver corporate and commercial legal work , including drafting and advising on contracts, procurement processes, and commercial arrangements. Contribute to litigation and public law matters , working with external counsel and supporting civil and criminal proceedings involving the Ministry. Build strong relationships and lead work delivery , collaborating across teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely legal outcomes.
