Job Description: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate Elmwood Primary Care , a hospital employed, outpatient family medicine practice located in Waterville, Maine, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our dynamic, patient-centered team. As a member of our practice, you will provide a full range of primary care services and manage your own patient panel. You will work within a highly collaborative, team-based model that includes: Medical Staff Care Management Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Licensed Clinical Social Worker This role offers a four-day clinical workweek and a day of dedicated administrative time, supporting excellent work-life balance. Call responsibility is by phone only and triaged prior to coming to you. Key responsibilities of this role, include : Providing comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan Managing your own patient panel with autonomy and support Delivering team-based care in coordination with interdisciplinary groups Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation Qualification for this role, include : NP or PA certification Maine medical licensure (or eligibility) Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care New graduates with substantial related experience will be considered Elmwood Primary Care and MaineGeneral Medical Center are committed to creating an environment where clinicians thrive both professionally and personally.
