How You'll Make an Impact: Payroll processing & delivery Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely completion of semi-monthly and monthly payroll cycles. Maintain payroll calendars, track deadlines, and proactively follow up with clients and In-Country Partners (ICPs) to ensure on-time submission of payroll inputs. Collect, review, and validate payroll inputs (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes, allowances, bonuses, leave, and reimbursements) for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with ICPs to submit payroll inputs and ensure payroll processing aligns with local statutory requirements and internal policies. Review payroll previews received from ICPs and perform payroll validation checks (e.g., gross-to-net variances, net pay reasonableness, statutory contributions, and deductions). Support payroll approval workflows, ensuring approvals are obtained and properly documented before payroll finalization. Ensure payslips are received, reviewed, and uploaded/distributed according to process and client requirements. Process improvement & operational excellence Maintain and update payroll trackers, checklists, and country-specific process documentation (SOPs) where needed. Drive standardization across countries by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy. Identify recurring payroll issues and propose improvements to reduce errors and improve turnaround time. Participate in payroll projects and company wide strategic initiatives (e.g., new country onboarding, ICP transitions, Product enhancements, automation, and standardization). Client, ICP, and internal stakeholder management Serve as the main operational point of contact for assigned countries' payrolls, providing timely responses to payroll-related questions and requests. Partner closely with ICPs to resolve payroll issues, including discrepancies, missing inputs, late submissions, and statutory compliance concerns. Escalate risks early to the Regional Payroll Manager (e.g., missed cutoffs, incomplete inputs, payroll variances, or ICP delays). Support cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Treasury, HR Operations, and Client Success teams as required. Payroll compliance & documentation Ensure payroll processing adheres to local statutory requirements, including taxes, social contributions, and mandatory reporting. Maintain accurate payroll documentation and audit-ready records, including payroll registers, approval confirmations, and statutory filings where applicable. Support year-end payroll activities such as tax forms, annual filings, and statutory reporting in partnership with ICPs. Let's Connect If You 3-4 years of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-country, regional, or outsourced payroll environment. Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals (gross-to-net, statutory deductions, payroll inputs, payroll approvals, and payroll reporting). Experience managing multiple payroll cycles (monthly and semi-monthly) with strong deadline discipline. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform payroll validation and reconciliation checks. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with external vendors or In-Country Partners (ICPs). Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and trackers). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. High ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
