ACMV Engineer/ Supervisor

About the role

Job Scope: Carryout preventive and corrective maintenance of ACMV systems, including air-conditioning units, FCUs, AHUs, CRAC, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, and associated equipment. Perform installation, replacement, upgrading, and commissioning of ACMV equipment and systems. Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of ACMV systems and implement effective corrective actions. Inspect equipment regularly to identify defects, deterioration, and operational issues. Assess system performance and recommend necessary repairs, replacements, orimprovement works to enhance reliability and efficiency. Ensure all ACMV systems operate in compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes of practice, and company standards. Prepare maintenance reports, service records, inspection checklists, and other technical documentation related to work performed. Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repair, and installation activities to ensure the timely completion of work. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders regarding maintenance and project requirements. Assist in the sourcing, evaluation, procurement, and inventory management of spare parts, tools, materials, and ACMV equipment. Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment of critical spare parts and consumables. Participate in tender site visits and site surveys to assess project requirements and provide technical input for tender submissions. Support the preparation of quotations, technical proposals, and maintenance plans where required. Supervise, mentor, and provide technical training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices. Ensure proper implementation of safe work procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements. Attend emergency breakdowns and provide after-hours support when required. Maintain good housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment. Perform any other ACMV-related duties as assigned by the superior. Job Requirements: At least 5 experience in ACMV installation, maintenance and repair. Education: ITE/ Diploma or equivalent in ACMV/ Electrical or related discipline.
