About the role

This National Guard position is for a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2162000 and is part of the OH 121 Air Refueling Wing, Ohio Air National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for all base electronic security systems by performing electronic security systems duties and managing all functions necessary to sustain electronic security protection in all areas of the installation. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
